Naval Base Coronado, CA

NAVFAC Southwest awarded Bayside contract N62473-21-C-1403 to provide technical and field support for the Naval Base Coronado facilities Environmental Restoration Program. Bayside performed gamma radiological surveys to decommission the radiologically controlled areas, prepared and implemented long-term protection measures to preserve the integrity of the radiological screening yard pads for planned future radiological remediation efforts, radiologically screen the remaining unfinished excavations and the transportation and disposal of approximately 5,900 cubic yards of non-RCRA soil, and concrete/asphalt and metal debris.
