Former Naval Air Station (NAS), Moffett Field, CA

Bayside has been subcontracted by Titan Environmental Solutions (Titan) and the U.S. Navy to provide vapor intrusion (VI) monitoring for up to 23 buildings at Former Naval Air Station Moffett Field, currently owned and operated by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Bayside’s professional engineers and geologists work with a variety of stake holders including the U.S. Navy, NASA, and Regulators to collect over 200 indoor air samples in the 23 buildings using Summa® canisters over a two week period. Bayside conducts analysis on the data collected to recommend VI response and remediation actions, which are reflected in an annual report. Bayside and Titan field personnel will perform operations and maintenance on VI mitigation systems that are currently being installed in 9 of the buildings.
